By Air:

The Dooars nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB). Different places in India land the Flight in Bagdogra Airport. Take off the Flight from Bagdogra airport, you can hire a Taxi from the pre-paid taxi counter which is located at the arrival area of the airport. You can also get a taxi from here to Gorumara National Park and Jaldapara National Park. At Bagdogra airport, you can’t find a shared taxi service. The main part of transport in Dooars is Road Ways. Most places are well connected by roads NH31 is the main highway of the area this is located 56 Km from Siliguri.   You can book a Cab or not you can go by bus. If you want to take a bus so must go to  Siliguri at the PC Mittal Bus Stand, where Buses leave for Dooars via Sevolek or Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminal Siliguri where buses are available for Jalpaiguri where you can change to another bus from here.

The main and nearest railway Station is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station
(NJP) from Dooars. NJP is the major railway that connects Siliguri and other regions. From the most important cities of Indian, you will get a Train to go to Darjeeling, near Railway Station is  New Jalpaiguri (NJP). You will go from Kolkata to Darjeeling many trains also available.

The climate of this region is not very extreme. The temperature varies from 10 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius from November to February, 16 to 28 degrees Celsius from March to April, and 23 to 36 degrees Celsius from May to September. However the forest remains closed from 15th June to 14th September.
